Your financial support can help pay for A Just Australia's three core activities:

• Public education and campaign activities consistent with the campaign strategies;
• Direct lobbying of Government and politicians to achieve policy change;
• Coordination of the organisations and individuals supporting the campaign.

2009 Membership Drive

In 2008, AJA was instrumental in bringing about some major achievements in policy reform. Temporary Protection Visas were abolished, the Pacific Solution was ended, work rights for asylum seekers on bridging visas will soon be introduced, we have seen a sweeping change to the approach to detention and we’ve reached an agreement to introduce complementary protection, a major win for the advocacy movement. So while we have had an enormous impact in 2008, our work can’t stop yet and to continue we need your support to move us closer to a “just Australia” for refugees. Please consider a regular monthly donation, and/or becoming a member. See this report for the policy changes we will be targeting in 2009.

Financial memberships or monthly donations

To commit to A Just Australia by becoming a voting financial member, or by donating monthly through Direct Debit or from your Credit Card, download our donation form using the link below, print and fill it in, then post or fax it to A Just Australia. Further information and instructions are on the form.

Annual membership fees are $50 for individuals and $100 for organisations. Many members also give an additional donation

New Memberships and new monthly donors should complete the financial form for individuals or the financial form for organisations You can make your payment online, and notify us that the above membership form is being faxed, emailed or posted.

Renewing Members can mail a cheque or money order or pay online using our secure online payment system. If you prefer you can pay via credit card by filling out one of the above financial forms and mailing it to us.
